Major events include the Billabong Pro in July and the Billabong Junior Series in September, plus the Shell Festival in September. Other day trips include the St Francis Area, Paradise Beach, Aston Bay, Addo Elephant Park, Shamwari Game Reserve, Seaview Lion Park, Tsitsikama National Park, Storms River, and the world's highest bungy jump at Bloukrans.
